Erewhon Steak Burrito 48/50

Erewhon is a store that makes Whole Foods look more like Walmart. Everything in the store is beautiful... and expensive. The steak breakfast burrito is really, really impressive looking. You can see how moist and well-distributed the ingredients are... you can also see how crispy those hashbrowns came out - perfect!!!

The burrito contained steak, hashbrowns, onions, peppers and a very light cheese. 

This burrito had the feeling that it was hand-crafted by someone thoughtful who takes pride in the wrapping and distribution of the ingredients. The steak was very evenly distributed as well as the hashbrowns and cheese. Every bite was consistent.

It lost points in taste and wetness. It was a little too wet - some juice was dripping out of it, but that's always better than being dry. Of course, when it's too wet - this will end up dripping all over your shirt, pants, and if you eat while standing like me - your clean white shoes. The taste was a too "oniony" for me - and in the morning, I'm not a huge onion person... the flavor of steak, onion and peppers does really go well together - just not at 7AM IMHO. It would have lost more points, but the perfectly cooked hashbrowns were so impressive that it gained some points back there. Highly recommend this burrito.
